Brussels and Tintin

Thanks to the Robbie Williams concert, I had the excuse to visit Brussels and had time to enjoy the sights, unlike so many other times. The city offers a lot, with many art galleries and cafes spread everywhere. When I was a kid (and not only a kid) I really enjoyed reading Tintin. This time, with the help of a web page, I discovered some of the places showed on the cartoon. Even better, in Louvain-la-Neuve, only 30 kilometres from the city, is the amazing Museum Hergé, dedicated to the father of the famous Belgian reporter, among other comics. The museum is not only dedicated to his most famous creation, but three quarters of the floorspace is dedicated to the artist himself, showing very interesting facets of Hergé as a prolific drawer and cartoonist. So many funny memories came to my mind!
By the way, the penthouse room at the Pantone Hotel was amazing! When doing your reservation, just pay the small supplement for the rooms with terrace, especially if you are going to visit Brussels in summer.
