Casablanca Nights
The magical room takes it's inspiration from the sun soaked lands of North Africa. A heady mix of rich colours, sumptuous fabrics and moody lighting, this room looks best at night, when the giant Moroccan lantern casts intricate patterns across a ceiling twinkling with silve and gold stars and over twin Edwardian beds. Solid deco furniture and lots of leopard print fabrics add an eclectic touch.

Highland Fling
A large room with twin beds, decorated in a style best described as 'ancestral'. Tapestries, portraits and heraldic family crests are displayed to great effect against dark wood panelling. A Scottish theme is evoked by the extensive use of tartan and sporting trophies. A neogothic cast bronze chandelier completes the picture.

Green With Envy
A small cosy twin bedded room, filled with beautiful and idiosyncratic objects. An arts and crafts style wardrobe is cleverly juxtaposed with a faux tortoiseshell dressing table and old fashioned chintz headboards. Walls are painted a deep velvety green and windows are lavishly draped with yards of sumptuous green silk. The overall effect is one of cocooned opulence.

Better Red Than Dead
This is a small intimate double bedded room, decorated almost entirely in shades of red. A voluptuous symphony of claret, vermillion and burgundy is elegantly combined with antique French furniture, theatrical curtains and flamboyant bed hangings. The result is an enchanting and original room, peacefully located at the back of the building.

Honky Tonk Afro
This room is a humorous interpretation of the decade of unbounded excess that was the '70's. Walls are a vibrant lime green, boldly trimmed with fluorescent pink feather boas. Curtains are sequined in true disco style and tied back with furry dice. Heart shaped mirrored headboards are complemented by hippy glass beads in jewel colour draped around the twin beds. There is a disco ball (of course) and walls are adorned with pictures of icons from that era. There is no restraint. Kitsch, over the top and groovy.

Indian Summer
A quirky interpretation of the majestic splendour of a Maharajah's palace. This small but elegant room combines jewel shades with solid colonial furniture.

About 5 minutes walk from Edgware Road tube station and a £15 taxi from Central London mainline stations, The Pavilion gives easy access to the sights of London. Weekends book fairly far in advance, but with 30 rooms, there is often availability for a room if you're flexible on which one to choose.
