Positive Experiences

"For our first visit, other than a day trip, to the Isle of Wight, we decided to book a week's holiday at The Enchanted Manor having seen the programme 'Under the Hammer' when Ric and Maggie bought a run-down hotel that they transformed into a beautiful individually themed property which is also their home. You have to be prepared for a property with a difference. We were very comfortable in our room, clean, light and airy. The breakfasts were excellent, lots of different choices, all well presented. Highlight of our stay apart from the scenery, good weather, good food at various places for evening meals, was to see the badgers visit the garden each evening. It was so good that we are going back again for another week on 18th September 2009!"

"The Enchanted Manor is not for everyone...only those appreciative of special care, delight in receiving the best a hotel can possibly offer. The owners, Ric and Maggie are a yoiung couple, obviously intent upon sharing with guests their love of history, surroundings fit for kings and queens, breakfasts causing one to let down the guard and just enjoy. I visited in November for the booksigning of famous ghost writer, Gay Baldwin, and absolutely had the time of my life. Then I ask myself, why go anywhere else, when the Enchanted Manor and the whole of the Isle of Wight await so graciously to welcome me and you too with heavenly delights, fairy dust and all the other good stuff! I shall return. Listen, The Enchanted Manor is so great I would even work as a kitchen knave there just to be there. But then no one is treated as a "knave" as this delightful establishment."

"Having stayed at the Enchanted manor my wife and I were blown away at the service and the attentive manner which Ric & Maggie put in over a full days work catering for everyone else as well as us, the hotel is full of unusual items including the art of Jo Wall (she may even be there in person she is always popping in) a weekend is not enough to see everything and that is just the hotel there is also plenty to see around the area you will be spoilt for choice. Go and see for yourself we had a fabulous weekend we will definatly be going back again and again, we are looking forward to the various theam weekends that are coming shortly (ric told us to keep it quiet untill everything is finalised) Magical is not the word its peaceful and relaxing get away from the world and absord the magic and mystery The rating that the varous hotel governing bodies have awarded them speaks for it's self"
