With Halloween celebrated by many at the end of October, UHOTW thought it might be interesting to investigate properties underground. Caves are one of the oldest of the accommodation entries highlighted in the UHOTW guide with some along the Loire River in France and in the Cappadocia region of Turkey dating back over 2000 years. New property Akkoy Everli is just such a historic entry, carved out of the soft Tufa limestone (or chalk in France), and these cool caves can offer luxurious accommodation options.
