About Les Jardins de Saint Benoit

Spa Resort styled around vines and vineyard villas

Surrounded by the beauty of the Corbières region - century old olive groves and vineyards, Les Jardins de Saint Benoît conceals a number of charming town and “vigneronne” homes with private pools.

These faithful updates of traditional “maisons vigneronnes” (winemaker’s homes) offer 3 to 5 bedrooms and self catering facilities. Aimed at nature lovers, children, food lovers and those keen to enjoy this special region, the village comprises several small houses, pedestrian cobbled streets, fountains, olive groves, and an elegant pool area.

Younger children can visit the animals at the petting zoo while older children can go fly fishing in the local river or prepare the vegetables they picked in the medieval garden. Adults will enjoy the Spa and tennis facilities.

Sample a slower life in vineyard villages

We have recently stayed at Jardins de Saint Benoit and am I writing to express my disappointment. It is clear that the resort is currently experiencing management difficulties and this has had an impact on our holiday. Firstly I must make it clear that the staff within the restaurant are very good and clearly very busy. Their level of customer service was high- and has been the saving grace of the whole resort. However, our villa and the resort did not live up to expectations on a number of levels, here is why: When we checked in, despite requesting early check in we were kept waiting until after 2pm. (My parents had arrived for check in at 10am and were asked to wait!). At no point did the reception staff welcome us, discuss the features of the resort or show us to our villa. Our credit card details were recorded but these were written into a book and not kept secure- this was a concern when we heard that other villas had been broken into and robbed. The villa itself has a number of issues- The drains smelled foul and one of the upstairs ensuites was unusable because of the smell. The air conditioning is very noisy and does not cool one of the bedrooms. There is a lack of appliances including basics such as hairdryer, ironing board, iron, a drying rack for clothing. **We have since learnt that following the sale of Garrigae there are several restructuring activities taking place. We welcome further feedback - positive and negative - and will aim to visit the property shortly to confirm it's status - GoUnusual **

Fascinating place - a resort property where you're able to stay for a single night to best enjoy the restaurant, wine tasting or events. Families will appreciate the safe, shared environment and summer kids clubs. The Properties vary from a double themed villa, to the larger properties with their own pool, sleeping 8-10.
