This is a real c1976 Jumbo Jet, retired and converted to hostel and cockpit accommodation.

Choose between a couple of en-suite rooms, budget dormitory, twin and three-bed combo rooms with shared shower and toilet in the corridor or the luxury suite in the converted cockpit with its panoramic view of the airport. First Class Lounge Conference Facilities:

The first class lounge has been converted to provide a funky conference location on the upper deck of Jumbo Stay for up to 8 people.

Morning - or afternoon tea: 50 SEK  per person
Conference Lunch, starter, main course, dessert and coffee: 140 SEK per person

Lounge: 2500 SEK

Can also be combined with accommodation.

it was amazzzzzzing. also quiet a pleasurable experience. i recomend anyone who wants to get to go there.

Slept in the Black Box and had a great night's sleep - and really easy to get to the airport for connections to Stockholm and for flights. Easy, comfortable and fun. Loved JumboStay and will return on future trips.

Black Box: The secret is out! I stayed in the newly opened "black box suite", named because it is located where the famous recording device used to be. The high dome-ceilinged room was quite spacious, the bed comfy and the en-suite bathroom compact but perfectly functional. The staff was young and friendly, dressed like a flight crew, naturally. And for a 7:00 AM flight, the location can't be beat. I really enjoyed my "flight!"... no seatbelts required...

The overview says "the converted cockpit with its panoramic view of the airport". The cockpit actually faces away from the airport, towards some buildings, trees and a carpark. Other than that, it's great just to drop by and take a look inside the Jumbo like I did. The staff is very friendly and they'll gladly show you anything which is not occupied at the moment and you can also relax in the café. There are also special souvenirs for sale. I have no need to stay there since my own flat is only 20 minutes away :)

I stayed there on the second night after the opening this january. A truly unexpected place to stay and exceptional feeling to be in an aircraft, yet not. A bonus was the possibility to climb around on the landing gear, I have never been this close to a large aircraft, and this being a 747!
