Overview
About Indigo Patagonia Hotel And Spa
Stylish destination where travellers mix with intrepid mountaineers and climbers.
Welcome to the Indigo, an artful mix of the modern and the traditional
all handcrafted amidst some of the most spectacular natural surroundings
on earth. Stay a while, enjoy the easy-going vibe, the quiet interiors,
the clean lines and soaring ceilings. Take a load off your feet. The
Spa in the attic, with massage and saunas, is heavenly. Go ahead, jump
into one of the hot tubs on the roof and marvel at the pristine beauty
of the Fjord of Última Esperanza all around you. Now this is
what you came to Patagonia for!
The Indigo is the result of the dreams of
its three owners: the
search for freedom and nature by Chilean climber and advertiser Hernán
Jofré, the taste and elegance of Spanish chemical engineer Ana Ibañez,
and the phantasmagorical vision of French economist Olivier Potart.
Three different origins united by the magic of Patagonia and a
strong will to create a place where travellers could mix with intrepid
mountaineers and climbers and all share their experiences.
The project began in early 2005, and after a phase of common creation
and design the plans were ready for construction, which started in
January 2006. Finally Indigo opened its doors on December 10th 2006, and
has been a thriving success since.

everywhere in the hotel. Of the 29 rooms, 23 rooms facing the
Fiord Las Hope and Glaciar Balmaceda, 5 face the Dorotea Sierra and
Puerto Natales Town, and one suite with its own fireplace and hot-tub

access to the spa and wifi.

Located on the top-floor of the hotel, the Spa is a
gift for the body and soul.

phenomenal sunsets while drinking a glass of fresh Chilean white
Sauvignon.
2 massage rooms, with treatments ranging from a
simple after-hiking relaxation to a full red algae massage.
1 large sauna: heat, calm, cedar, m-m-m…
+ a great mix of music, large comfortable couches & chairs to
relax, a big log-fire, and brooding Patagonia through every window!
Mama Rosa's Gourmet Restaurant
Mama Rosa is in charge of the restaurant, and she specialises in
baking pastries and exquisite home-made meals fresh every day!
Big delicious breakfasts for active travellers,
Snacks and French-style pastries available all day
Delicate dishes for winding down at the end of the day
Some favourites include: fresh kingcrab from the fjord (served as
it is on a sesame crisp with an avocado emulsion), tasty beef from
the nearby local pampa (served in a herb crust, or raw “tartar”
style), and lamb (braised with roasted eggplants in a chickpea
sauce).
