"Its definitely unusual and a good experience, although summer can be very humid here and rooms don't generally have a/c.""It's beautiful. And Budapest is very nice.""This grand and spectacular Art Nouveau Hotel made retains much of its original charm and splendour in terms of both its appearance and the way it is run. The caged elevator link to the Turkish Baths in the basement of the Hotel was a luxurious bonus and the Baths themselves were fantastic. The room in which we stayed was spacious but nothing spectacular in terms of its decor and facilities. We did however have our own balcony terrace with wonderful views over the Danube and towards Gellert Hegy. The Hotel offers a number of Restaurants and a wonderful Coffee Bar. The restaurant in which we dined was excellent in terms of service and food, although the in-house string quartet were a little 'in your face' (quite literally). Overall a very pleasant and interesting stay."
