The trams have four different themed compartments; Italian (smoking), French (smoking), English (non smoking) or American (non smoking).

The train carriage - a restored railcar, sleeps 4 and has a fantastic Mexican themed interior with a giant jacuzzi in the shape of a huge sombrero. As well as a double bed in a boat, the interior has a really funky theme. A TV/DVD/Music system combo is provided with lots of great 70's and 80's music. The 2 doubles are really comfortable and the bathroom is great.

For only €60,00 per person, per night, including tourist tax and cleaning, you will receive a great breakfast and a tour of their amazing home.

If you are planning to stay for several nights, the rate reduces: the second night they charge €50,00 per person, per night and the third night or more only €40,00 per person, per night.

The 4-person train is €250 a night inclusive of evening dinner and a fridge filled with a fantastic breakfast buffet."

About an hour from Amsterdam, Controversy is only 10 minutes from the dunes and beaches. If you’re arriving by train and planning to say several nights, ask Irma if she’s able to pick you up – or arrange a taxi from the local station. 

They also have a video and vcr library, that looks like a UFO – but is actually the escape pod from an Oil Rig. Both Frank and Irma are incredibly friendly, and staying here is certainly worth the trip to escape the busy Amsterdam life for a couple of nights.
