About East Brother Light Station
Victorian lighthouse, restored and converted to hotel.
East Brother Lighthouse, or more accurately a Light Station, is a beautifully restored Victorian Lighthouse Inn perched atop an island in the straits that separate San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. With its uncommon combination of being both a "lighthouse inn" and an "island inn", it makes for a completely unique destination. Accessible after a 10 minute boat ride to the island.

My wife and I have stayed at several Lighthouse B & B's, this has been the best. It is a short boat ride to the island were you are greeted by a great wine and cheese party, followed by a great supper with wine, and then a fabulous morning breakfast. Super for an anniversary.
