"Ariau Amazon Towers Hotel is the only hotel complex at tree top level in the Amazon Rainforest. Ariau Amazon Towers Hotel is located 35 miles from Manuas, Brazil at the confluence of the Rio Negro and Ariau Creek. Built entirely at the level of the Rainforest Canopy, Ariau's towers are linked together by 4 miles of sturdy wooden catwalks. This architectural wonder affords visitors a unique communion with the regions abundant flora and fauna while leaving the fragile eco-system completely undisturbed.
Situated on the right bank of the Negro River, part of the National Park of the Negro River and at the beginning of the Anavilhanas Archipelago, the largest fresh water Archipelago in the world.

Located thirty five (35) miles or sixty (60) kilometers in a Northwestern direction from Manaus, Brazil. The fly-in city to go to Ariau is Manaus, the capital of Amazonas state, in Brazil. Several airlines fly daily to Manaus (city code is MAO).
Shulltle buses pick up from Manaus hotels to take guests to the departure point at the riverside Tropical Hotel for boats to the resort. If you arrive early, there is a surprisingly nice zoo in the hotel grounds. The river cruise takes about 2 hours. Helicopter and fast boat transit are also available.
Activities
All guests are on similar package tours that offer variations on piranha fishing, caiman watching and jungle tours, altering the number of nights and schedule of trips to allow different times to explore the walkways yourselves. If you can, allow half a day to visit the far reaches of the walkways or consider hiring bikes from the hotel. We recommend the dolphin excursions, which offer a chance to swim with flesh coloured river dolphins (considered sacred in some cultures), without the mass-market pressure trips advertised in destinations such as Florida. Manaus itself is a thriving industrial metropolis whose character was built upon rubber, yet still manages to demonstrate the enthusiasm that characterizes so much of Brazilian culture. As an international gateway it might be an alternative for entry into Brazil, as the immigration facilities are less busy than at other locations. Don't miss a night at the famous "jungle opera" if possible.
