The comments above from Suzanne Alderton I wish to correct! We came all the way from 'little old New Zealand!' to visit this 'FAB' place. Not the U.K!

It was a incredible experience. The dolpin swim and the jungle hike were awesome. Go while you can. Accomidations are fantastic considering how isolated it is. I did not expect air conditioning but as pleasantly surprised!

We came here a few years ago as a family. Be sure to go on the night boat ride, they'll catch a baby croc and bring it back on the boat for you to play with. Pretty risky, the guys get injured doing it from time to time... incredible place to stay. When the water is high and low it completely changes the look of the place

My husband and I stayed here 5yrs ago and loved it! It was amazing. This hotel was started up by Jaque Coustou and a banker and is an incredible eco-resort.The 1st part of the hotel was built on the other side on the left of photo on the Ariau River, hence the name.It has since been added to bit by bit.We stayed in the origonal Tower and thought the whole experience with the locals and the wildlife simply amazing. There is so much to enjoy. The sunsets, sunrises, thunderstorms over the jungle canopy's,helicopter rides over the jungle canopy and around the rivers, trips into the villages, fishing for pirana, canoeing, swimming, gator'spotting, the wild life you can weiw from the walkways, yummy food and lots of excercise to name but a few.Well and truely recommend!!The highlight of our massive trip through Sth.America.

Visited here once and was kind of disgusted. Tourists giving monkeys beer and weird, musty, smelling rooms. Not a place I would like to spend lots of time. Didn't feel clean to me. Kind of creepy.

This is an incredible eco-resort. The tours, especially to swim with and feed the pink dolphins in Ariau Creek where it meets the Rio Negro, were superb. I went during the dry season (December) and intend to return during the wet season in the near future.
